About

For those of us who understand that sometimes no matter how tall the heel on your boot is, the barrier is so high that you need a small lift to help you get over it - they will understand that the inequalities in society build that barrier so high. Unless you do something to knock it down or help that person up, they will never have a chance.
— Sonia Sotomayor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court

I started working at 14 to help support my family. By 16, I was fully independent with no money, home or parents. Through perseverance, grit and support from my community I made it to college.

I found myself in the world of investment banking at J.P. Morgan in the heart of NYC, where navigating chaos became my norm, not my nightmare. This road took me through pit stops at VICE Media, AOL, and NBCUniversal, operating at the highest levels of corporate strategy and business development. In 2018, I began my adventure into entrepreneurship and venture capital — apprenticing at firms like Harlem Capital Partners and AlleyCorp, I've designed a toolkit designed not just for my own success but engineered to empower others to flourish. Currently, I lead as CFO at Break the Love, where we’re democratizing access to recreational sports across the country.

My personal and professional journeys have enabled me to apply creative problem solving to strategy and operations, go-to-market through partnerships and business development, and corporate finance in any role I have served. For any company experiencing unprecedented growth or trying to get there, folks that have integrity, compassion and the grit to get it done are valuable. That is where I have come in.

I built my foundation unequipped to navigate the world of finance and corporate America — with the skills from my adolescence I learned everything I could. It was through this experience I learned we cannot control the circumstances we are born into but we can choose to move through the world differently.

I support future leaders and game-changers in realizing their own “American” dreams by offering my expertise in strategy, finance, operations and venture capital.
